Some of the many hundreds of letters we receive at the R.A.A.H. |
I have suffered from Parkinson's Disease which is an incurable disease, for the past fifteen years. Five years ago I had to go into the hospital and when I came out I was very ill. I was unable to do anything for myself, I couldn't even feed myself or turn over in bed. During this time I was having healing which I found helped me a great deal. The first two or three times I didn't notice much difference then gradually I began to feel more relaxed. Most of all I found peace of mind which helped me so much with the frustration my illness brings - in a word it helped me cope. I can now do more things for myself and have several hobbies which gives me a more interesting life.

In 1977 I had a prolapsed vertebrae. In 1978 I had an accident and broke a shoulder blade. X-rays at this time showed I had a shattered disc in my spine and I had a piece of bone removed from my hip to pin the vertebrae in my neck. I subsequently developed head pains and began to stumble and fall. The bone from my hip was discovered to have arthritis present. I lived my life in agony for months with no relief from pain killing tablets. After discovering the R.A.A.H. I attend their centers regularly. I have not taken painkillers for some years now and am free of pain. I have stopped using my body support which I have been wearing since 1987, and walk without stumbling. My family have seen vast changes in me, I was previously bad tempered and intolerant. I continue healing regularly and am so grateful for the benefit I have received.

I have found that attending the R.A.A.H. for healing has helped me in a number of ways. I feel that I have become more relaxed in my day to day life and more able to cope with situations instead of becoming stressed and panicking. I also feel that healing has helped me to get more in touch with my spiritual self and, of course, it has helped to relieve general aches and pains that made me uncomfortable.

I have been a patient at the R.A.A.H. Healing Centre at Thorne for four years and have experienced great benefit. I am arthritic and have found some improvement, discovering a great deal of inner strength, a strength I never knew I had. The first time I entered the center I felt a wave of calm and peacefulness come over me, I felt safe and secure. Traveling from Sheffield to Thorne each week, approximately 35 miles, is always worth it.

Several years ago I had problems using my hands because of stiffness and pain so I decided to visit the Thorne Healing Centre. I received healing and, although I was very relaxed, I didn't notice any real improvement. However, after three visits there was a definite improvement and after more healing the pain went completely which now gives me the full use of my hands again. A pleasant side effect is that I have less stress, fewer migraines and now enjoy good quality of life.

I came to the R.A.A.H. for help with spondylosis in the neck vertebrae. I could not move my head and was in great pain. Since having healing, movement is much freer and the pain has eased. I also find I am more relaxed, more tolerant and feel calm inside, all of which helps me to deal positively with the emotional stress of family bereavement.

At 38 years old I had a heart attack. I knew of the R.A.A.H. through a friend and decided to pay a visit. Desperately hoping that I would find some kind of peace and maybe even a little miracle. After a heart by-pass nine months later, the support of R.A.A.H. was 100%. I received home and hospital visits from Rosemary and her healers, and thanks to them I have been shown a way to overcome and deal with my fears and to enjoy a useful life. Healing has helped me in some unknown way which is alien to me, but I am very grateful.
