Does healing work? |
Healing is a harmonizing of spirit, mind and body. Although no promises can ever be given that a cure will take place we never limit that which spiritual healing can achieve.
Unfortunately, many seek healing when all else has failed. But healing often acts as a preventative. No matter how minor an illness appears to be, healing can be beneficial.
First we give healing to the spirit, the spirit which is the light of the soul. When illness or disharmony is present then the light dims needs energy. As healing takes place energy is given, the light is restored. Then, hopefully, healing of the physical self will take place.

What is Healing? |
The first question people often ask is, "What is healing?", and our reply is, "Healing is a harmonizing of spirit, mind and body."
You may have read somewhere about faith healing, psychic healing, spiritual, divine, contact or some other kind of healing. All basically mean the same, which is to heal, to make whole. Most healers believe that before the physical body can be made well, the spirit must be made whole. We in the R.A.H.E.F. believe that with the aid of divine energy, the power of spirit, call it God if you wish, spiritual healing can be effective in this aim.
How and why healing works has not yet been discovered, even though a great deal of scientific medical research is being carried out in many countries. What cannot be denied is that it can, and often does, work.
It is generally accepted that the person giving healing, i.e the healer, is merely acting as a channel, or medium, for this divine energy.
All of us can heal. (A mother rubs a child's grazed knee - "let mummy make it better"). In some of us, the ability to give healing is stronger than in others, but we in the R.A.H.E.F. feel it is best for all those wishing to develop their healing skills to undergo thorough training in order to become clear, positive and constructive channels.
Most major religions have very strong healing traditions. Christianity for one; Jesus himself being a healer.
The ancient Egyptians and Greeks before Christ practiced healing. The Hippocratic oath which is recognized as having genuinely originated with Hypocrites, often called the father of medicine, begins: -"I swear by Apollo the Healer."
Healing has been around for thousands of years and is now being "rediscovered." Many medical practitioners now accept that, although there is no medical explanation, healing works.
There are many books written on the subject of healing, some good some bad. The way to recognize a good healer is to try healing yourself. There are healers for people, so if one does not work for you then try another. When you find the right healer for you, only your own experience of good healing will tell you of the benefits.
Remember - when healing is given, it is given first to the spirit self. Once made whole, then, hopefully, the physical self responds likewise.
With God's help we heal. Try it, it really works.

Can animals and family pets receive spiritual healing? |
All living things are part of the same creation and can benefit from spiritual healing.
The R.A.H.E.F. receives many enquiries regarding spiritual healing for animals - pets, other domestic animals, ill treated animals, wildlife, etc.. Can we help them?
All living things are part of the same creation and can therefore benefit from positive healing energies and so our Association has often been involved with animals. To name just a few we have assisted with the healing of cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, birds and many other beloved creatures.
Healing may not result in a physical cure, but this does not mean that healing has not worked. Sometimes we can help an animal to pass to the spirit world peacefully, without fear and pain and with calmness and acceptance. This is beneficial not only to our animals but also to the people who care deeply for them.
Animals respond well to healing, giving themselves completely up to it and accepting it totally, in a way humans rarely do. Rosemary's own two dogs, Cavalier King Charles spaniels who have now passed on, benefited from healing; Jasper was cured of a massive hemorrhage after eating rat poison and Karma lived for thirteen years, with the pain of seven years of arthritis eased. Winston, the 19 ½ year old Birman cat of one of our healers survived leukemia, a chest tumor and kidney problems, to die peacefully of old age.
Spiritual healing is complementary to orthodox medicine and we always ask our patients to ensure that their doctors or veterinary surgeon is aware that healing is being given.
If you are unable to visit one of our centers, please let us know, when either a home visit of absent healing may be possible.

|
Do I have to believe in God for spiritual healing to work? |
Everyone can receive and benefit from spiritual healing whether they believe in God or not.
 |
How will healing make me feel? |
Healing is a gentle process. You should feel relaxed, calm, and peaceful.
 |
Will my problem/illness be confidential? |
All matters relating to patients are treated in strictest confidence within the organization and we abide by our Code of Conduct and Constitution, which constitution comes directly from the Confederation of Healing Organizations, based in the United Kingdom.
 |
Are Spiritual Healing and the Medical Profession compatible? |
As an organization we advise that patients must consult their medical practitioner. The R.A.H.E.F. likes to work along side the medical profession whenever possible.
We feel that spiritual healing is complementary, and not an alternative, to orthodox medicine.
