As Rosemary has illustrated for us in her book, SOUL SIGNS, our soul is like a daffodil bulb, striving to reach our potential, to flower. We are each one of us a flower in the garden of souls.
At the Rosemary Altea Healing and Educational Foundation (RAHEF) in Ira, VT, a "Garden of Souls" was planted in the fall of 2004 at the former site of Llewella Day’s lifelong hilltop home overlooking the beautiful rural landscape. Llewella was Rosemary’s patient and friend who entrusted to Rosemary her dream of creating a place for healing on her land. The RAHEF is the realization of this dream. Each daffodil in this garden represents a soul. They are our friends, our family members, pets and those in the spirit world we wish to remember.
You may honor someone special to you who has passed by planting a bulb in their name. Then their name will be inscribed in a beautiful leather bound volume along with a special dedication of your choosing (no more than fifteen words). You can plant the bulb and write the inscription personally at Rosemary's October event in Vermont, or it will be planted for you by Rosemary and her team. This is our "Garden Of Souls" and every spring the blooming of these beautiful daffodils will remind us of our loved ones in the spirit world and the generosity of those who believe in the mission of the RAHEF, who have given so generously to our foundation.
